Poland's regional airports have experienced phenomenal growth due in part to the expansion of travel on low-cost carriers. Around Katowice, rapid reintegration of the Silesian industrial heartland with its historic EU markets has created new opportunities for hospitality and other supporting real estate development for a catchment of 11 million customers.
As a partner in the Washington Opportunities Group, Amber has led the effort to assemble a highly visible and accessible 1 hectare (2.5 acre) site and secure preliminary design approvals. We are currently exploring alternative development options for the site.
The site is situated right at the entrance to the airport and convenient for both passenger and cargo related functions.
As the EU emerges from the global financial crisis, the Katowice region is well-positioned for long-term growth and offers the best highway network in Poland.
