Opened in 1992, this 16,000 s.f. (1,600 m2) medical office building is owned and occupied by Roseland Community Hospital and physician tenants who are also limited partners in the project. The Center was developed by the Beverly Area Local Development Company (BALDC) on contaminated Urban Renewal land that had remained vacant for 10 years.
Glenn Williamson served as Executive Director of BALDC and carried out development, construction, leasing and management of the property together with professional support from a volunteer board of directors.
The project provided a new long-term anchor for a prominent Gateway location and generated further reinvestment in adjacent land parcels and nearby historic buildings.
